Colombo Architecture is an international firm, founded in 2011 as a collaborative studio for Architecture and Interior Design.
Based in Barcelona and Milano, the firm works on projects in Spain and abroad.
Our purpose is to transform properties into unique spaces with increased value, for local and foreign clients, both private and investors.
Our approach is strongly architectural, working on spaces, maximizing potential, exceeding our clients expectations.
We transform places, through a vision that reveals their hidden potential.
By carefully choosing shapes and combining materials we create unique spaces that dialogue with their surroundings.

Relation to context
Our projects are deeply rooted in relation to context. Location, surroundings, building, landscapes are of great inspiration for us. We let the site suggest solutions and aesthetics. Borders between indoor and outdoor spaces are often blurred. Solutions frequently respond to different needs simultaneously.
Our firm takes every assignment as a challenge. Each project is the result of all the given elements, the clients’ needs and goals, the solutions to the problems to be solved, the job's constraints. Never repeating a pattern. Our firm looks for a special result with every assignment.

Matteo Colombo
Born in Milano, Matteo first cursed art school and then graduated in Architecture at Politecnico.
After living and working in Dublin for six years, he chose Barcelona as his home.
Proud of his Milanese and Italian background, Colombo works an architecture that transcends scale, embracing from macro to small details, bringing coherence in every aspect of the project.
Matteo believes that places themselves have the potential to inform and inspire and guide the project's direction.
